Report on Beta 7 - some anomalies discovered with FMS V2 Beta 7

Hi all,

This is the first time I registered although I've been a user for about 1 year.

The Beta 7 release I think is wonderful, many many thanks to our developers. But I do have a couple of anomalies:

1Beta 6 landscapes don't work.
2Beta 7 skies are very... textured?
2Beta 6 aircraft have a few quirks.

Furore flies twice as fast with a low sink rate (I find it difficult to land)

Gurke won't load at all

Beta 6 3rd party aircraft with paintjobs(the mk22 Spitfire for example, or the wonderful F14) dont display the paintjobs correctly. I'm sure I've seen this somewhere...

Some of the Beta 7 aircraft don't seem to respond to control commands correctly whilst others are good. Most Beta 6 aircraft seem to respond correctly

The system here is :
PII 233Mhz 512Kb L2 cache
192Mb main memory
5.2Gb disk in two partitions. FMS on the second.
Logitech Wingman extreme Joystick
MaxiGamer Cougar graphics card cw 32Mb memory
Yamaha OPL3 SAx sound card
15" monitor

Win95 OSR2, no special additives or background tasks.

Any answers / suggestions would be most appreciated so that I can get my favourite aircraft / environment working again.

If you want to fix the problems with the paint jobs on your Beta 6 planes just open the Bitmap file associated with the model you have a problem with by right clicking the file name from explorer then select edit. When your editor opens the file use the image pull down to first flip side to side and then rotate the image 180 degrees. Save the file and when you open the plane next time the paint will be fixed.
