Using FMS with a Jamara Radio

Hi Guys,

I have tried reading through these forums to help me find out how to connect the 4 channel radio supplied with my recently purchased Jamara V2 Minicopter. Although i have read and read, i am left completely bewildered as to how to connect the transmitter. There seem to be just so many options that i don't know where to start. The copter came with a lead designed to fit the back of the radio, and a connector that has both a com port connection and a serial port connection for plugging into my computer. i have plugged the com port connection in to com port 2, and set the com port settings to 19200 baud. However on running fms and selecting serial interface, it does not see my transmitter at all. i must be doing something wrong that to you all is blindingly obvious but i just can't see it. Would someone please take me step by step through what i have to do to get this to work? How do i configure bothe the com port in windows xp sp2, and the settings required in fms.

i don't want to connect through my machines gameport as i already have a gamepad on there, neither do i want to connect through the soundcard mic port. i just want to use the com port if that is possible.

PLEASE HELP!!!
