Happy New Year all! I am a newbbie here, and no experience with RC flying or simulators, just a dreamer I guess...retired and not able to buy equip for actual flying. Could I download this FMS sim to a dell 2400 PC and use just keyboard/mouse for some flying fun????? And I am computer completely technically deficient!!!! So don't know if this will run on my basic XP or not!?!? I'm mostly interested in heli or very slow flyers....any help appreciated greatly!!!

I'd start with the RECOMENDED (Version 2.0 Beta 7) version. It works on XP just fine.
However, I do not recommend using the keyboard, it is much more difficult than using a stick. Any cheap joystick will make your FMS very pleasurable. Have fun.

Cheap joystick:
to get full control of models, ensure your joystick has all 4 'axes':
roll and nick (x and y)
throttle (usually a rotating knob)
AND direction/rudder/tail: normally rotating the handle gives this, but this 4th axe is absent on most cheap joysticks !
